Meet Kerry!
I'm 27 years old, and diagnosed with RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) at age 13, after twisting my left ankle while running pre-season for my high school xc team. Over the years, I've been in and out of remission, but my most recent relapse (July 2011) has left my RSD to spread up to my knee on both legs (although my left side is much worse). I wear knee-high socks (crazy ones, at that!), everyday, because the static pressure of the socks feels better than the pain I feel from my pants rubbing against my bare legs, or even a breeze on my legs. Along with RSD, I also deal with chronic migraines (helped by physical therapy), and chronic stomach issues, due to a hiatal hernia that I was born with.
